IFB - S.H.I.P. GENERAL CONTRACTOR - HM.FERRANDI

The objective of this IFB is to establish a contract with a responsive and responsible general contractor to complete the required rehabilitation work (Roofing, HVAC, Bathroom Renovation, ADA Ramp and Popcorn Ceiling Repair) at 50 East 54th Street, Hialeah, FL. In accordance with the scope of work in this IFB. This repair project must follow the requirements of the 2020 FBC, Residential, 7 th Edition, Chapter 9 Roof Assemblies. All work performed under this Repair Project shall comply with all National, State and Local Codes having jurisdiction and with all requirements of Utility Companies whose services will be used. 1. This residence is occupied by elderly people that require mobility assistance; one uses a wheelchair. The entrance has 3 steps, the total height is around 52.5” (17.5” per step). This project will propose the installation of a non-fixed metal ramp, ADA-approved. 2. Complete roof replacement of tile roof, BUR flat roof, including repair/replace sections of the fascia and soffit that can be damaged. 3. Complete bathroom remodeling to make it ADA Accessible. 4. Replacement of the HVAC equipment system (air handler with thermostat and compressor). Provide some allowance for duct cleaning. 5. Provide and install a new non-fixed metal ADA-approved access ramp for the entrance to the residence. 6. Repair interior popcorn ceiling in the areas damaged by a roof water leak.
