New Teacher Support

The Pendergast Elementary School District is looking for a vendor to create a program to decrease teacher attrition rates through increasing teacher support. The potential vendor would work in-person with the district to complete program evaluation of the existing induction program and train district leaders to create sustainable systems of evaluation. They would also work in-person with new teachers and mentors in order to increase teacher skills, morale, and retention. The Pendergast district’s purpose for this professional development is to create more opportunities for job-embedded professional learning and feedback. Additionally, the district seeks to reduce attrition rates by providing direct, job-embedded learning that is directly applicable to individual needs.
