  "summary": "<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 13.5pt; line-height: 200%; font-size: 11pt;\"><strong><span>A.&nbsp; <u>PURPOSE</u></span></strong></p><p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 13.7pt; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>The Bridgeton Board of Education seeks competitive proposals from qualified respondents to use the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to provide behavioral and emotional support for our Special Education Students.</span></p><p style=\"margin: 0in -16.2pt 0.0001pt 13.5pt; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 13.5pt; line-height: 200%; font-size: 11pt;\"><strong><span>B.&nbsp; <u>SCOPE OF SERVICE</u></span></strong></p><p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 13.7pt; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>The chosen agency shall provide school-based functional behavioral assessments and professional development to our staff and parents, in addition to vendors already contracted in the 2026-2027 school year, designed to train and support teachers and classroom staff. Services provided shall include but shall not be limited to the following:</span></p><p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 13.7pt; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>&nbsp;</span></p><ul style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0px;\"><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 21.6px; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>A behavior consultant shall be on-site in the district for a minimum of (five) days a week during the 2026-2027 school year to provide on-site behavioral support. Teacher and staff training shall focus on assessment and managing challenging behavior in the classroom. </span></li><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 21.6px; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>The agency shall provide training to classroom teachers and parents in developing and implementing monitoring programs.&nbsp; Programs shall be designed to improve behavior in school and at home.</span></li><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 21.6px; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>ABA Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities in the ABA Setting.</span></li><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 21.6px; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>Assessment and Intervention Skills: Proficient in conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans on the principles of ABA.</span></li><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 21.6px; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>Supporting Child Study Teams in collaboration in developing the FBA/BIP for challenging behaviors of some of our Special Education Students.</span></li><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 21.6px; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team. </span></li><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 21.6px; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>Reinforcement shall be provided throughout the school year to assist staff in developing and maintaining a behaviorally sound environment within the classroom.</span></li><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 21.6px; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>Provide direct ABA services: Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy, utilizing behavior analytic techniques to promote behavior change and skill development.</span></li><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 21.6px; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>Board Certified Behavior Analyst or appropriately licensed Clinician shall adequately support our students during and after school hours.</span></li><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 21.6px; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>Working collaboratively with our Speech Specialists on strategies to work with non-verbal autistic students.</span></li><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 21.6px; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>All invoices will be provided at an agreed-upon time to the Business Administrator.</span></li><li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 21.6px; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>All agency employees assigned to the district must be fingerprinted</span></li></ul><p style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 11pt;\"><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 13.5pt; font-size: 11pt;\"><strong><span>All clinics/agencies responding to this RFP must be listed on the state of New Jersey Approved Clinics and Agencies Directory to provide the services requested in this RFP:</span></strong><span>&nbsp; <span style=\"color: red;\">https://www.nj.gov/education/specialed/osedirectories/</span></span></p><p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 13.5pt; font-size: 11pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: black;\">Companies and agencies not on the list will not be considered for an award.</span></strong></p><p style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 11pt;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 13.7pt; font-size: 11pt;\">&nbsp;</p>",
