Fire Alarms Monitoring, Testing, Inspection, and Maintenance Services

The Napa County Department of Public Works is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide contract pricing for fire alarms monitoring, testing, inspection, and maintenance services at various County locations. The selected contractor will provide the County with routine, non-routine, and emergency fire alarms monitoring, testing, inspection, and maintenance services at various County locations. All services shall conform to acceptable industry standards as established by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and as referenced, incorporated, and required by the California Fire Code and other applicable codes, laws, and regulations. For a list of routine service locations, see the full Scope of Work. A California C-10 Electrical Contractor License is required. A California C-16 Fire Protection Contractor License is desirable. Registration with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) is required. The term of service agreement is anticipated to be five (5) years, comprised of an initial three (3) year term with the provision of two (2) additional one (1) year terms, and a transitional scope of work prior to commencement of services. The services start date is anticipated to be July 1, 2026.
