Deaf or Hard of Hearing Family-Focused Contractor for Spring 2026 Family Fun Day

The EHDI-MS (Early Hearing Detection and Intervention – Mississippi) Program is seeking to contract with a Deaf or Hard of Hearing Family-Focused Organization to plan and host a Family Fun Day in the spring of 2026 for children who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) and their families. This event will serve as a unique opportunity for families to connect, share experiences, and build a sense of community in a supportive, inclusive environment. The Family Fun Day will feature a mix of recreational activities, family-centered programming, and opportunities for emotional support and resource sharing. The event will foster meaningful connections among families while also providing access to information, advocacy tools, and professionals who support the DHH community. Through this partnership, the EHDI-MS Program will strengthen family engagement, reduce isolation, and promote a positive outlook for families of children who are DHH. The CARE Project’s expertise in family support and emotional well-being makes it an ideal partner to lead this initiative and create a memorable, impactful experience for Mississippi families.
