Description
This solicitation outlines the duties required of the chemical supplier for supplying liquid sodium bisulfite to West Basin’s satellite facilities: the Chevron Nitrification Treatment Plant (CNTP/Chevron), Torrance Refinery Water Recycling Plant (TRWRP), and Juanita Millender-McDonald Carson Regional Water Recycling Plant (JMMCRWRP). These facilities are also operated by Veolia and provide supplemental treatment required by some industrial users. Liquid sodium bisulfite is used to dechlorinate the recycled water so it can be used for specific industrial purposes. The estimated daily use of the Sodium Bisulfite at the various facilities for the contract period is shown in the following table. These figures are not guaranteed.
