The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, ProcureNow ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than 'Proposal Submission Date at 'Proposal Submission Time (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide 'Types of Services on an as-needed basis for the City of Newport News Police Department. These services require the Contractor to pick up deceased persons from crime scenes and deliver to the Chief Medical Examiner, Tidewater Office, 830#100 Southhampton Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23510 as outlined in the Scope of Work.
