INVITATION TO TENDER The Summer Village of Norris Beach invites qualified contractors to submit tenders for the provision of grass cutting and grounds maintenance services within the municipal boundaries. This contract includes: • Park and common area mowing • Entrance area maintenance • Boulevard mowing • Ditch mowing ________________________________________ 2. CONTRACT TERM • Mid-May to mid-September 2026 (weather dependent) • One (1) year term • Option to extend up to two (2) additional seasons upon mutual agreement ________________________________________ 3. SCOPE OF WORK 3.1 Base Services • Weekly mowing of: o Parks o Municipal reserves o Common areas o Entrance features • Weekly trimming of: o Tree bases o Entrance areas o Park features ________________________________________ 3.2 Boulevard Mowing • Mowing of roadside boulevards and municipal rights-of-way • Frequency: every 2–3 weeks or as required ________________________________________ 3.3 Ditch Mowing • Mowing of roadside ditches and drainage areas (includes sloped terrain) • Minimum 2–3 cuts per season, as needed basis • Must use appropriate equipment for safety ________________________________________ 3.4 General Requirements The contractor shall: • Provide all labour, equipment, fuel, and supervision • Maintain equipment in safe working condition • Carry: o Minimum $2,000,000 liability insurance o WCB coverage • Be responsible for any damages caused ________________________________________ 3.5 Additional Work • Extra work must be pre-approved • Paid at agreed hourly rates ________________________________________ 4. PAYMENT TERMS • Monthly invoicing, payment within 30 days of approval ________________________________________ 5. TERMINATION Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice. ________________________________________ 6. EVALUATION CRITERIA Tenders will be evaluated based on: • Cost • Experience • Equipment and capability • References • Ability to complete ditch and boulevard work safely ________________________________________ 7.
