McGee Science Laboratory Renovations Architectural Services

The Berlin Public Schools seeks to update five (5) science laboratory classrooms at McGee Middle School, located at 899 Norton Road, Berlin, CT. The existing laboratories date back to the building's original construction in 1968. The renovation purpose for four (4) of the laboratory classrooms is to address the deficiencies in the existing laboratories to better align them with the current curriculum and Next Generation Science Standards, and to enhance the educational experience. The renovation purpose of the fifth (5) classroom is to convert the existing laboratory classroom into a general classroom and to create a space more conducive to learning. The Town of Berlin is seeking proposals for architectural and engineering firms with experience in renovation and construction in Connecticut Public Schools to provide design and engineering services for the preparation of five (5) science laboratory classroom renovations at McGee Middle School.
