Bid Lead Service Line Replacement- Phase 1

The work for Contract No. 1 includes but is not limited to: Replacement of 1320 existing privately owned portions of lead water services with new copper water services from the curb stop to the water meter, which is typically located on private property within residential dwellings. All supporting activities, including site work, restoration, maintenance and protection of traffic. The work for Contract No. 2 includes but is not limited to: Replacement of 262 existing privately owned portions of lead water services with new copper water services from the curb stop to the water meter, which is typically located on private property within residential dwellings. All supporting activities, including site work, restoration, maintenance and protection of traffic. The work for Contract No. 3 includes but is not limited to: Replacement of 126 existing privately owned portions of lead water services with new copper water services from the curb stop to the water meter, which is typically located on private property within residential dwellings. All supporting activities, including site work, restoration, maintenance and protection of traffic. Printed sets of plans and specifications may be obtained from the Director of the Office of Management & Budget, Division of Purchase upon deposit of a new check or money order in the amount of $100, payable to the Commissioner of Finance of the City of Syracuse. Checks transferred from other jobs will not be accepted. To have bid documents mail ed, Bidder must provide Fed Ex account number. Bidder’s account will be billed directly for the mailing. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All contracts are funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Lead Service Line Replacement (BIL-LSLR) through the Drinking Water State Revolving Funding (DWSRF). The Bid is subject to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) participation requirements. DBE participation requirements shall be in accordance with NYSEFC’s fair share objective of 20%.
