Building Condition Assessment Services

The City of Edmonton Non-Profit Housing Corporation (“HomeEd”), invites proposals from qualified firms (the “Proponent”) to provide Building Condition Assessment Services for selected HomeEd residential properties in Edmonton, Alberta. The purpose of this Request For Proposal (RFP) is to retain a multidisciplinary Contractor team to complete a Building Condition Assessment of identified assets, including building condition, environmental considerations, hazardous materials and observed hazards, structural condition, building envelope condition, pavement and parking lot condition, and electrical systems condition, and to prepare practical recommendations and planning-level cost forecasts to support HomeEd’s asset management, capital planning, budgeting, risk management, and portfolio decision-making. HomeEd wishes to have this work begin upon award with a timeline for completion by the end of September 2026. HomeEd intends to award this opportunity to the proponent whose proposal represents the best overall value to HomeEd, based on the evaluation criteria set out in this RFP.
