Tutoring Services, As Needed

It is the intention of the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) to procure as needed, if needed, tutoring services for identified students. The tutoring services must provide high quality, effective core academic support/enrichment. These services are specifically designed to increase the academic achievement of identified children on assessments, and specifically, to attain proficiency in meeting grade level Arizona State as well as college and career readiness standards. Definition of tutoring: Tutoring is supplemental instruction of specific standards-based skills and concepts. The goal is core content skill and concept development as demonstrated by measurable improvement on standardized assessments.
