Replacement Doors for JFK and JJE Community Centers

The City of Florissant is seeking bids for the replacement of a single steel door and frame at the JFK Community center from the gym to exterior entrance/exit. The door is 3'-4" x 7' x 1-3/4". Seeking exact size replacement with 5=3/4" welded swing out right hand transom frame with solid panel above door, punched and dimpled, prepped and installed closer, 3 to 4-1/2" Ball Bearing NRP Hinges in Silver finish 26D (or equivalent), heavy duty DC door closer, Von Duprin Series 22 (3') panic exit device with keyed exterior cylinder, 5" aluminum threshold with lip, weather-stripping and sweep. Door should also have a 4" x 24" Lite with safety glass. Steel door frame measures 3'-8" x 8'-3-1/2" x 5-3/4". All materials should be as requested or like equivalent. The City of Florissant is also seeking to replace an existing exterior set of double doors with transom at the JJE Community Center in the E-Sports facility. The replacement door should be exact to specifications or equivalent. Wide style bronze aluminum and glass door set, 6' x 7', bronze 3000 series aluminum frame with transom. Height is 135". Three ball bearing butt hinges per leaf, overhead concealed heavy duty door closer for left door viewing from exterior, 4" threshold and sweeps. Doors will have 1" clear tempered glass, 10" bottom rails, 8" horizontal muntin assembly behind push bars, aluminum push panic bars and aluminum pull handles. Left door viewing from exterior will have keyed cylinder and thumb turn. Double door should have a removable mullion or no mullion in center of doors. Transom will have very dark tinted tempered safety glass. Frame will be caulked on both sides. Existing ADA operator should be installed on new door set. Existing exit light will be installed on new set. All work quoted should include the removal of existing doors/frames and haul away. Scope of project should include all work and materials necessary for the removal of existing doors and frames and installation of new doors and frames. This should be a turn key project allow for immediate use of new doors and hardware.
