Daytona Ave, Flagler Beach, FL 32136 Justification: Compass by Margaritaville was selected for its proximity to the Flagler County School District summit, which reduces travel time for staff, presenters, and participants. The hotel also agreed to a reduced, state-approved lodging rate during peak season, in compliance with Florida Department of Education and state lodging guidelines. NEFEC contacted multiple hotels for this event, but no other properties submitted bids or could meet the required room block, rates, or availability. As this venue is uniquely able to fulfill the logistical, cost, and timeline requirements of the Title IX, Part A McKinney-Vento Mini-Summit, it qualifies as a sole source provider for lodging accommodations.
