The hotel was selected based on its confirmed availability for the specified date, compliance with all meeting space and lodging requirements, and willingness to provide accommodations within the approved rate of $164 per night , which is within the state per diem. This venue meets all logistical and programmatic requirements and provides cost-effective convenience for participants. Due to the FDOE’s pre-approval of this site and the event’s specific scheduling and facility needs, competitive solicitation is not applicable.
