PHAR-2171 - USA (Columbia, South Carolina) - Pharmacy Benefit Services - Deadline September 1,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide pharmacy benefit services to the government authority located in Columbia, SC. – Provide Pharmacy Benefit Services (PBS) solution to modernize and support the medicaid pharmacy business and technical environment.  • Agency interested in enhancements to these key areas:– Agency directed pharmacy benefit preferred drug list: provide technical solutions to improve the overall functionality of the Preferred Drug List (PDL) and how this information is communicated to stakeholders by making some information outward–facing and more transparent.– Clinical consultation and staffing: provide solution that improves both the staffing level assigned to the Contract and the overall knowledge and skills of this staff as it relates to the pharmacy solution.– Increased automation for prior authorization: solution that will include more automated processes to more efficiently support prior authorization functionality.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 17, 2026. (3) The contract period will be for three years. (4) Virtual non–mandatory pre–proposal conference will be held on July 15, 2026.
