ITS Projects and Traffic Flow Improvements Within the SR-710 Affected Corridors

The ITS Projects and Traffic Flow Improvements Within the SR-710 Affected Corridors includes the design and implementation of ITS assets along the selected signalized intersections and integration of these assets into the DOT multi-modal transportation network. Integration will feature point to point connectivity through fiber optics for communications at some locations. The installation of hardware consists of, but not limited to, upgrading 18 type 337 cabinets to type 332 cabinets, traffic controllers, audible pedestrian push buttons, vehicle detection equipment technology, emergency vehicle pre-emption, conduits, conductors, pull boxes, and miscellaneous appurtenant work for up to 35 signalized intersections along Orange Grove Boulevard, Colorado Boulevard, Green Street, and Holly Street.
