(1) Vendor needs to provide alternate assessment service to the government authority located in Pierre, SD.• Scope of Components or Phases:1. Develop alternate academic achievement standards in ELA (English Language Arts) & Matha. Timeline: October 2026 through March 2027, to be released to SD educators in April 2027 for 2027–2028 school year instructioni. This component is a one–time deliverable.2. Develop Test Items in ELA, Math, and Sciencea. Timeline: May 2027 through September 2027, to be used for spring 2028 alternate assessment administrationi. This component is ongoing annually to ensure validity of the test item pool.3. Provide assessment system for the administration of Test Items in ELA, Math, and Sciencea. Timeline: March 2028 through mid–May 2028 during state summative assessmenti. This component is ongoing annually.4. Score Test Items in ELA, Math, and Sciencea. Timeline: March 2028 through mid–May 2028i. Real time scoring with immediate resultsii. This component is ongoing annually.5. Report Test Scores in ELA, Math, and Sciencea. Timeline: Reports for districts are to be in real time, so educators immediately get their results. All data in the reporting system should be final by the end of May.i.
