Description
The Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility (ECLWRF), located in the City of El Segundo, CA, is owned by the West Basin Municipal Water District (District) and is operated by Veolia. The facility provides advanced treated tertiary reclaimed water (barrier water) for underground injection to prevent seawater intrusion. Hydrogen peroxide is used as an oxidizer to remove organics in the barrier treatment process. The District also owns three satellite facilities that provide reclaimed water for industrial use. This IFQ outlines the duties required of the chemical supplier for supplying bulk hydrogen peroxide to the ECLWRF.
