The Cecil County Department of Emergency Services is issuing a Request for Proposal to interested and qualified applicants to provide independent third-party evaluation services. The Cecil County Department of Emergency Services (CCDES) provides Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) services, emergency medical services, emergency management and disaster coordination, responder training and education, public safety education, coordination of fire and rescue services, and mitigation of emergency situations to over 104,000 residents, visitors, and businesses. The emergency services consist of 3 CCDES stations, 9 volunteer fire and rescue companies and 1 federal fire company.
