Aviation Noise Consulting Services for Santa Monica Airport

The City of Santa Monica, (“the City”) is inviting proposals from qualified persons or firms interested in a professional services agreement for A irport Noise Consultant Services for the Santa Monica Airport. The goal of the Airport's ongoing noise impact assessment is to continually develop usable and potential strategies to mitigate the environmental effects of aircraft noise, while allowing the Airport to serve the aviation needs of our community. The selected aviation noise consultant may be required to provide the City of Santa Monica with a noise measurement survey, CNEL noise contour modeling, an assessment of alternative airport development scenarios, the development of a new airport noise control concepts and, potentially, specifications for new noise monitoring equipment to enhance the overall performance of the Noise Monitoring System (NMS).
