Beaufort County Courthouse Renovation

Beaufort County is soliciting sealed bids from qualified, licensed, and properly insured contractors for the renovation of designated public areas within the Beaufort County Courthouse located in Beaufort, South Carolina. The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to obtain competitive pricing from experienced contractors capable of performing phased interior renovation work within an occupied and operational judicial facility while maintaining required public access, security, and operational continuity. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project consists of interior renovations to the following areas of the Beaufort County Courthouse: Atrium and Main Lobby (Upper and Lower Levels) Men’s and Women’s Restrooms (Upper and Lower Levels) Family Court Courtroom #1 Family Court Courtroom #2 Work associated with this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Removal and replacement of flooring finishes Installation of new wall treatments and finishes Replacement of acoustical ceiling tiles and acoustical wall panels Refinishing of existing millwork Replacement and/or refurbishment of courtroom benches Replacement of plaintiff and defense tables Furnishings and furniture improvements
