Askøy kommune skal inngå avtale på bistand til svømmeopplæring i barnehage og grunnskolen i Askøy kommune.Tjenesten skal bidra til å gi barn og unge i Askøy kommune gode svømme- og livredningsferdigheter. Tjenesten skal dekke behov for bistand til vanntilvenning i barnehage og på 2.trinn, samt svømmeinstruksjon på 4. trinn ved 14 barneskoler. Fagavdeling skole lager plan for opplæringen i samarbeid med tilbyder.
