Dorchester County is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the installation of approximately 172 linear feet (LF) of 6-inch C900 DR18 Restrained Joint PVC water main, 531 LF of 3-inch SCH40 PVC, 293 LF of 2-inch HDPE IPS DR11 HDPE installed by horizontal directional drill method, 2" Pressure Reducing Valve and Backflow Preventer with Insulated Cover, and necessary appurtenances. This Invitation for Bids (IFB) document provides background and general information for Respondents and should be used in the development of bids.
