Background Investigation Software System

The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office (“SMCSO”) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a secure, cloud-based, pre-employment background investigation software system. The proposed system must integrate seamlessly with the current digital system in use by SMCSO. The objective is to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and security of the pre-employment background investigation process to ensure high quality hiring decisions. The target start date for the proposed services is September 1, 2026 subject to negotiation of a final agreement.
