Professional Architectural Services - Fire Station Management Building

The City of New Smyrna Beach is seeking a qualified, experienced and licensed architectural firm to provide design services for the remodel of the New Smyrna Beach Fire Station Management Building located at 1400 Findley Street, New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32168. This property was acquired by the City in August of 2022 and is adjacent to the City of New Smyrna Beach Fire Station #50 located at 1400 State Road 44, New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32168. The city of intends to enter into a contract with one (1) firm to provide design services, space planning and provide construction plans for this project. Potential bidders shall provide options to remodel the existing building or to demo the existing building and reconstruct a new building. The successful proposer(s) will hereinafter be referred to as “Professional Consultant.” The Professional Consultant will be expected to execute the City’s Standard Professional Agreement, provided in the Attachment Section of this document, and provide the required insurance certificates and endorsements under the agreement. If awarded, a contract to provide these services shall be effective on the date it is approved by the City of New Smyrna Beach, City Commission (herein after, the “Commission”), signed by all required parties and filed with the City Clerk. Interested firms should become familiar with all the terms contained in the agreement and be willing to execute the agreement before submitting a proposal. There shall be no exceptions to either the scope of services or the terms of the agreement.
