Description
The County of Tuolumne is seeking proposals from qualified individuals to conduct fuels reduction and mechanical site preparation and associated treatments for reforestation as authorized in the Master Stewardship Agreement the County has with the USDA, Forest Service, Stanislaus National Forest on behalf of the Yosemite Stanislaus Solutions (YSS) Collaborative. The County intends to select Contractors that meet the specifications of this Solicitation based on best value. The Rim Reforestation project consists of approxima tely 2,100 acres of reforestation, though the project size could increase depending upon funding availability. This RFP is for site preparation work on those 2,100 acres, inclu ding fuel reduction and piling. Specifications and different treatment actions are detailed in the Section 2. Scope of Services. It is the County’s intent to have all site preparation work completed by August 31, 2026.
