Rim Reforestation Phase 3 Reforestation and Herbicide

Description

The County is seeking proposals from qualified individuals to conduct herbicide and reforestation work related to the Master Stewardship Agreement the County has with the USDA, Forest Service, Stanislaus National Forest. The work will be conducted on approximately 2,300 acres within the Rim Fire burn scar. Planting and herbicide application will be done according to the specifications and alternatives approved in the Rim Fire Restoration and Reforestation Record of Decisions (ROD). Planting and hand grubbing will occur between February 6th and March 6th, 2023. Herbicide application will occur between March 6th and April 10th, 2023.
