Energy Efficient Lighting, Installations, Retrofitting, and Services

The scope of work and specifications define the quality and characteristics of the desired materials and application. They are based upon specifications for known acceptable manufacturers, processes, materials and/or brands such as Above Lights, Acuity Brands Lighting, American DJ, Cooper Lighting, LLC, FY Lighting, GE Lighting Solutions, Hubbell Lighting, James Industry Group, Juno Lighting, LLC, Lighting Science Group, Lithonia, Magnetek, Musco, Nualight, Osram Sylvania, Philips, Philips Advance, RAB Lighting, Relume Technologies, SLD, Stromberg Lighting, Unipar, Times Square Lighting, Visionaire Lighting, Wolfspeed, Inc. and/or equal quality products. The specifications are not intended to be exclusive or to restrict competition. Bidders may offer alternate solutions, including alternate manufacturers, which meet the quality and performance characteristics in the specifications. Mohave shall review such bids and be the final judge on the acceptance of any alternate solutions. New installations for traffic signal, airport applications (taxiway/runway), exterior athletic and sports field lighting are not requested and shall not be allowed under an awarded contract. Products only bids are not being requested and shall not be allowed under an awarded contract. Arizona Registrar of Contractors License clarification: Specification 1.1.01 requires an awarded vendor to have and maintain a current Arizona Registrar of Contractors license to utilize subcontractors with a similar license. This information was confirmed via an email with the Licensing Department of the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. Bidders shall provide evidence that they have a current C-11 Electrical license or are in the process of being awarded a license by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors . Bidder may provide an Arizona Registrar of Contractors license other than a C-11; however, bidder shall provide documentation from Arizona Registrar of Contractors that the license provided allows either self-performing and/or subcontracting the scope of work for C-11 Electrical. Bidders that are in the process of applying for a contractor’s license, shall provide in Tab 2b a copy of the Arizona Registrar of Contractors application receipt with pending number included. An awarded contract will be contingent on successful award of an identified Arizona Registrar of Contractors License.
