Water Conservation Youth Education Programs

TRWD is hereby inviting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from vendors with expertise in youth education and water conservation. The Scope of Work in this section is not comprehensive. Rather, it represents what TRWD anticipates will be needed for this project. Prospective vendors may recommend improvements to the scope in the project approach section of their SOQ (Statements of Qualifications). The selected firm will prepare a comprehensive scope that will be negotiated with TRWD. The scope of work includes the following tasks: Provide inclusive and engaging water education programs for youth in Tarrant County elementary, middle, and/or high schools. Provide youth education programs that focus on one or more of the following topics: the value of water, the water supply system, conserving water, and protecting water quality. Work collaboratively with TRWD to craft custom programs based on our local water supply system, local ecosystems, weather and climate, etc. Manage program planning and implementation and provide frequent communication and progress updates, based on a mutually agreed-upon project timeline. Recruit teachers and schools to participate in the programs. Conduct teacher and student evaluations to determine the efficacy of the programs. Provide evaluation data and final year-end program report of all deliverables to TRWD to document accomplishments.
