(1) Vendor needs to provide claims administrator services.• Provide claims management, supervision and adjusting services for excess general liability, including police professional, auto liability and workers’ compensation claims which represent a potential liability to the fund, and may require payment from the fund because claim may exceed the self–insured retention limit of an affiliated commission or county.• Supervise and direct the member’s TPA’s to provide for quality and effective investigations, adequacy of reserves and timely reserve changes.• The excess TPA is also expected to provide direction to the primary TPAs on claims that may reach the excess layer of coverage.• Report claims to the fund’s excess carriers.• Maintain and preserve claim files in accordance with State statutes and regulations and policies of the fund.• Attend fund meetings, claims committee meetings, management meetings.• Supply monthly financial reports to the executive director and treasurer detailing, summarizing, and reconciling imprest transfers, claim payments, and other financial transactions (voids, refunds, recoveries, etc.) in the manner specified by the executive director.• The claims management system must provide a historical claims database with remote access by valuation date and current claim information.(2) All question must be submitted no later than July 27, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
