A CONSTRUCTION APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM TO BE PROVIDED TO CLIENTS UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF SACRAMENTO COUNTY PROBATION DEPARTMENT

The purpose of this Determination of Interest (DOI) is to exchange information between the Sacramento County Probation Department (Probation Department) and potential future Community Based Organizations (CBOs) interested in providing a construction apprenticeship program for justice-involved clients referred by the Probation Department. The Probation Department desires to secure a future agreement with a service provider experienced with providing vocational and career training along with educational services for probation clients in Sacramento County in collaboration with local government and other service providers in the community. At this stage, the Probation Department seeks informational input only, as requested herein, and as jointly developed through the exchange of written questions, and answers thereto (see Key Events Table). It is expected organizations who submit information responses shall have the ability to, and interest in providing a construction apprenticeship program targeting justice-involved individuals as indicated in the RFI.
