Description

The City of Norfolk, Virginia (the “City”) is seeking to invest in technology to improve parking enforcement in residential neighborhoods and the downtown area. The City is requesting proposals for the design, implementation, operation, and support of an integrated mobile License Plate Recognition (“LPR”) technology and virtual parking permit management system (”System”). The City will only accept proposals from offerors capable of providing full ‘turnkey’ services and who will bear all associated costs to include LPR cameras equipment, maintenance and repair, routine servicing, system upgrades, wireless connectivity, installation and related end-user training. The proposed System must provide a compatible interface with the City's existing mobile payment service and T2 System’s Flex back-office application.
