Community Development Block Grant - Coronavirus Response (CDBG-CV) 22CV-S42 Engineering Services

The awarded proposer shall be responsible for the design and engineering of the construction of Lake Avenue streetscape through the CDBG-CV grant program. A copy of the grant agreement between the State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and the City of Groveland is provided for reference. Scope of work will entail the reconstruction of roads, sidewalks, and walkways along Lake Avenue and Cherry Street. This will help facilitate social distancing in support of the City’s efforts to safely re-open public parks and other open spaces in accordance with CDC guidance. All upgrades and modifications covered by CDBG funding are within the boundaries of the City of Groveland benefiting all residents. The project service area is comprised of greater than 51% of persons who are low- to moderate income thus meeting the National Objective by primarily benefitting low-to moderate income individuals for Commercial Revitalization.
