The vehicle must have a minimum fuel capacity of 6,000 gallons, a refueling pump capacity of at least 600 Gallons Per Minute (GPM), and accommodate a crew of at least two personnel. The contractor will be responsible for delivery and maintenance support to address a critical shortage of aircraft fueling vehicles at Tyndall Air Force Base.We intend to award a sole–source contract to ATAP, Inc. ATAP, Inc. is the only source capable of providing an immediately available, AFPET–certified R–11 Refueler that Tyndall AFB personnel are already trained to operate, thereby avoiding critical mission delays.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. A solicitation document will not be issued. However, any responsible party that believes it can meet this requirement may submit a capability statement to the Contracting Officer listed above. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
