Created by Santiago Nocito, 1-510-238-7563, snocito@oaklandca.gov To provide the City of Oakland's Public Works Department with eighty (80) three-stream sorting station compliant to SB 1383 and AB 827 for a one-time purchase only. The waste stations must include an interchangeable sign frame for each container, be easy to transport and set up, have durable lids and wire frames, and can hold a waste bag of at least 40-gallon capacity. Proposal must include detailed description, measurements, and specifications of the station. The awarded Standard Purchase Order will not be subject to a specific time term and/or renewal. Note: California Senate Bill 1383 (SB 1383) is a mandatory compost and recycle state law. It requires waste generators to compost and recycle these materials. Containers and/or lids must be labeled and color-coded: green for compost, blue for recycling, black or gray for trash. California's Assembly Bill (AB) 827 requires compost and recycle bins adjacent to trash bins. The City of Oakland invites your firm to submit a bid to fully provide the goods and or services described herein. This Request For Quotation and any subsequent contract award will be in strict accordance with the documents identified below: Offeror should check and be sure that they have received all documents and should follow the instructions contained within this RFQ when preparing their bid.
