Mobile Parking Application

The City of Hollywood, FL Parking Division is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a Mobile Parking Aplication. The Division oversees approximately 4,700 public parking spaces, encompassing parking garages, surface lots, and on-street parking utilizing various systems such as T2 Luke Multi-Space Pay Stations, ParkMobile, Tiba Parking Access and Revenue Control Systems, PARIS billing and accounts receivables system, Gtechna Parking Management System, and Genetec License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras. The Parking Division comprises of administrative, enforcement, customer service, garage maintenance, and collections staff, totaling 28 full-time and 13 part-time employees. To streamline parking services and enhance customer experience, the Parking Division seeks a customized mobile application to integrate or redirect to existing parking systems and provide users with a seamless, efficient solution. The app should offer functionalities such as Single Sign-On (SSO), online application and payment for parking permits, access card purchases for downtown garages, citation appeals and payments, real-time facility occupancy updates, and payment options for legal parking spaces. Currently, customers interact with multiple systems to manage parking permits, pay citations, and access parking facilities. This fragmented process can be time-consuming and inconvenient for users. A customized mobile application is essential to centralize these services, improve the user experience, and increase operational efficiency. By addressing challenges like integrating various systems and providing real-time information, this mobile app will simplify parking for customers and set a new standard for parking management in Hollywood. The ultimate goal is to offer a seamless, user-friendly solution that enhances customer satisfaction while supporting the Parking Division’s mission to provide efficient and innovative parking services. This project aims to enhance accessibility, simplify processes for customers, and improve operational efficiency while supporting the division’s goal of delivering modern and user-friendly parking solutions.
