The City currently operates five (5) Model RT4 Polaris Ranger units: Two (2) are assigned to the Pasadena Police Department and Three (3) are assigned to the Pasadena Fire Department.</p><p>\"OEM\" (Original Equipment Manufacturer) refers to genuine parts manufactured by or for Polaris that meet the original design and performance specifications. \"Authorized Service\" refers to maintenance and repairs that are performed by vendors certified by Polaris to maintain the manufacturer's warranty and ensure proper operation of the equipment.</p><p>These units are critical to emergency response, public safety, and field operations. They are regularly deployed for emergency rescue in the City's foothill and canyon regions, and are used to patrol the Rose Bowl during large-scale events such as football games.</p><p>The awarded vendor shall provide timely parts availability, repair services, and preventative maintenance to ensure the safety of City fleet equipment. The contract term is for five (5) years.</p>",
