South Shore Country Club HVAC Project

The Town of Hingham (the Owner and Awarding Authority) seeks to solicit bids for all work for the replacement of the existing South Shore Country Club’s Men’s and Women’s locker room HVAC system and Lobby HVAC system, including removal of existing units and other abandoned equipment, partial demolition and rebuilding of the exterior attic wall to facilitate removal and installation and other miscellaneous Work as indicated in the Contract Documents. Bids for the Work are subject to the provisions of General Laws Chapter 149, Sections 44A- 44J inclusive, as amended and Section 39M through 39R of Chapter 30 as amended. Regulations governing bidding procedure as set forth in above mentioned General Laws must be followed. In the event of any inconsistencies between any of the provisions of these Bidding Documents and of the cited statute, anything herein to the contrary notwithstanding, the provisions of the said statute shall control. There is one Filed Sub-Bid Category: Electrical, estimated value $30,000.00. NOTE ON FILED SUB-BID, ELECTRICAL : due to the OpenGov system configuration, it does not support two different bid due dates, and sub-bids need to be submitted and due before the General Bid deadline in order for General Bidders to choose and incorporate the sub-bidder's pricing into their General Bid and make the general bid complete. In order to submit the filed sub-bids through the OpenGov system, we have posted an Associated Project, titled "South Shore Country Club Re-Roofing Project: Filed Sub-Bidders" Project ID 2024-IFB-068A, which must be used by Filed Sub-Bidders to respond to and upload their bids and all required documents by June 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM. NOTE: THE ELECTRICAL FILED SUB-BID RESPONSE IS DONE THROUGH AN ASSOCIATED PROJECT POSTED ON OPENGOV, SEE PROJECT # 2024-IFB-068A TO BID ON THE FILED SUB-BID CATEGORY. Construction Schedule: Construction to commence July 24, 2024, with Completion by October 30, 2024.
