Moving Services

The County of Greenville (referenced herein as "County") is seeking proposals from qualified vendor(s) to perform moving services. This project primarily consists of transporting storage boxes (with paper contents) packaged by County Staff, from County Square ( 301 University Ridge, Greenville, SC 29601 ) to the newly constructed Greenville County Administration Office, located adjacent to County Square. This project shall include the pick-up, move, transport and delivery of storage boxes, high density storage books, and other miscellaneous items. The vendor will be required to provide packing materials; packing services will be provided by the County. The County anticipates that approximately 1,500 vertical file boxes and 800 lateral file boxes will be moved to the new facility. The County does not anticipate that services will be needed to transport filing cabinets, or electronic equipment; in the event that needs arise, the awarded Contractor shall be capable of providing additional services for miscellaneous items. The County may elect to enter into a one-year contract, with the opportunity for up to four (4) annual renewals, which would allow the awarded vendor to provide moving services on an "as-needed" basis for future County projects.
