Description
The County of San Benito, through its Behavioral Health Department (hereafter, “SBCBH”), invites responses, from qualified consultants, to a Request for Proposals to provide professional and technical services to assist in the planning and implementation of the Behavioral Health Services Act (hereafter “BHSA”) (Proposition 1, 2024, Senate Bill (SB) 326), in transitioning from the current Mental Health Services Act (hereafter “BHSA”) established in 2004. In addition, technical assistance with other areas of focus in order for the Behavioral Health Department to remain compliant with all legislatively mandated requirements, include Quality Assurance activities; the development of innovative BHSA projects; increased stakeholder involvement; revision of the Cultural and Linguistic Competence Plan; development and implementation of initiatives and grants will also be included.
