Health Equity Action Plan Strategic Consultant

The City of Pasadena Public Health Department is seeking proposals for the creation of a three-year Health Equity Action Plan including an implementation framework. This Plan is expected to advance the health equity mission for the Department – working together to ensure everyone in Pasadena has a fair and just opportunity to be as healthy as possible. Within this RFP you will find a description of the desired elements, methods, and terms of application. The Department seeks a qualified vendor with demonstrated experience in health equity approaches, strategic planning, organizational evaluation, and successfully driving change in the public sector – preferably in the realm of public health and/or health services. The vendor must demonstrate a strong understanding of the impact of structural racism and bias on health equity. The vendor will have experience synthesizing stakeholder and programmatic input into implementation and evaluation benchmarks designed to advance health equity in real world settings.
