Description
Beaufort County is seeking a qualified firm to evaluate and form a maintenance plan for all unincorporated Beaufort County Roads to include: Pavement condition survey, pavement condition indexing (PCI) and summary of findings. Evaluation of maintenance and preservation methods per the Beaufort County Preservation Manual and preparation of a roadway priority list. Establish a ten-year fiscally constrained pavement maintenance and preservation program. Alternate scoping includes: Pavement condition survey, PCI and summary of findings for secondary state routes and other municipal roads (City of Beaufort, Town of Port Royal, Town of Bluffton and Hilton Head Island). Create a database for and evaluation of pavement markings and raised pavement markers on unincorporated County roads. Create a database for and evaluation of roadway signs within unincorporated County right of way. Create a database for and evaluation of sidewalks within unincorporated County right of way.
