Job Order Contract (JOC) for Fencing Installation and Repair

The City of Tucson is conducting a competitive TWO (2)-STEP process to retain up to THREE (3) Contractors for a Job Order Contract (JOC) to provide labor, materials, and equipment relating to the installation and repair of fencing at various locations for multiple City Departments. NOTE: Environmental General Services Department (EGSD), Facilities Communication Maintenance (FCM) is the primary user of the resulting contracts. Additionally, Housing Community Development Department (HCD) and Department of Transportation and Mobility (DTM) may also utilize the resulting contracts. Individual job orders should not exceed two hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) unless a waiver is requested of and granted the Business Services Department-Procurement. The City of Tucson reserves the right to increase the individual job limit at time of annual contract renewal. The estimated budget for the first year is four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000.00). The term of this contract will be ONE (1) year with TWO (2) two-year renewal options. Services will be requested on an as-needed, if-needed basis and the resultant contract is neither exclusive nor a commitment by COT that the Contractor's services will be required. Select projects may be funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. Projects that exceed the Formal Solicitation Threshold established by the Tucson Procurement Code, currently at one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) shall be subject to the requirements of the Business Services Department-Procurement Business Enterprise & Compliance Program (BECP). Program requirements are codified in Chapter 28, Article XIII of the Tucson Procurement Code. Projects shall be subject to the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program Provisions for Alternative Project Deliver Method (APDM) for Construction Services.
