Cyber Vulnerability Assessment of Lakeland Electric’s Energy Management System

The Cyber Vulnerability Assessment (CVA) aims to identify and evaluate potential risks to critical assets, ensuring compliance with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection Standards (CIP) CIP-010-4 R3 requirement. Specifically, it focuses on assessing the effectiveness of existing security controls, detecting vulnerabilities that could be exploited, and determining the overall risk to the reliability of the Bulk Electric System (BES). The goal of the CVA is to identify vulnerabilities, recommend mitigation strategies and suggested improvements to ensure that Lakeland Electric maintains a robust defense posture in alignment with NERC CIP requirements.
