Statement of Need and ObjectivesThe purpose of this acquisition is to procure a Keyence BZ–X1000 All–in–One Fluorescence Microscope to support ongoing and future NHGRI research activities.Objectives include:Enable high–resolution fluorescence and brightfield imaging of biological specimens, including fixed cells, live cells, and tissue sections from pre–clinical mouse models.Support visualization and quantification of gene expression, vector distribution, cellular pathology, and therapeutic response.Enhance experimental efficiency, reproducibility, and data quality through integrated imaging, automation, and analysis capabilities.Reduce dependency on shared imaging facilities and improve turnaround time for time–sensitive experiments.The system shall meet or exceed the following requirements:All–in–one fluorescence and brightfield microscope systemHigh–sensitivity fluorescence detection suitable for low–signal biological samplesCapability to image fixed and live cells, as well as tissue sectionsAutomated image acquisition and stage controlIntegrated quantitative image analysis softwareHigh–resolution imaging suitable for cellular and subcellular visualizationUser–friendly interface to enable operation by laboratory personnelCapability for multi–channel fluorescence imagingData export and compatibility with standard analysis workflowsProvide the Keyence BZ–X1000 All–in–One Fluorescence Microscope or equal system meeting all specified requirementsDeliver, install, and configure the system at the designated locationProvide all necessary components, accessories, and software licenses required for full system functionality
