Communications Tower Design and Build - 2021-8031.3

General work description: Yuba County seeking professional services from qualified firms, contractors, and individuals for the provision of a new communications tower to support the communications hut at the new Public Works Corporation Yard at 4667 Skyway Drive, adjacent to the Yuba County Airport. Contractors are also invited to bid on the communications hut project. Certified business enterprises such as (and not limited to) MBE, WBE, and DVBE are encouraged to apply. The County manages its projects with a combination of its County Staff and contractors. The successful awardee of the communications tower project will be required to work in cooperation with all parties engaged on the Corporation Yard project, including the communications hut contractor firm, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Federal Communications Commission, and the U.S. Department of Treasury. Please note that this project is defined as a Public Works project in accordance with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), and as such is subject to state regulations including but not limited to prevailing wage. This project will be registered with, and subject to regulation by DIR and the U.S. Department of Treasury under the regulations of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
