The purpose of this RFP is to obtain proposals to be used to identify the insurance carrier(s) most suited to offer group accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, short term disability, plans to Chesapeake Public Schools employees. Chesapeake Public Schools will also explore adding Pet Insurance coverages. The District will not consider responses from non-insurance carriers. Employees of Chesapeake Public Schools are currently offered voluntary insurance products through UNUM . These plans include accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and short term disability insurance coverages.
