BUILDING DEPARTMENT SERVICES

The City is requesting proposals for Project ID Project Title . Proposals are to be submitted via https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/daniabeachfl . Proposals will be received prior to Response Submission Date at Response Submission Time . The Intent of this RFP is to seek proposals from qualified and experienced firms who can provide supplemental Building Division services for the Community Development Department. The successful firm shall be an independent contractor. The individuals assigned to work for the City shall be employees of the firm and shall be subject to approval by the City. Neither the firm nor the firm’s employees shall be City employees. The desired services include but are not limited to: Plans examination and inspections Administrative duties related to the implementation and enforcement of the Florida Building Code, City Code and other applicable Broward County, State of Florida and Federal regulations. Electronic Plan Review (EPR) services with applicable software. EPR software integration with Bluebeam software is preferred. Other related assignments and services may be performed as directed by the City; i.e. post disaster service, staffing for emergency operations center (EOC), support the Unsafe Structure Board, Building Official services, City building assessments, governmental coordination, American Disabilities Act (ADA) coordinator.
