Description

The Cobb County Behavioral Health Building has surpassed its capacity to serve its growing client base. The facility has room for expansion within the building. The project will require renovations to specific areas on the first-floor and build out of the vacant second floor. Cobb County is looking for a General Contractor for a Construction Manager At-Risk (CM at- Risk) for Renovations of the First Floor and Build Out of the Second Floor Behavioral Health Building to be located at 1758 County Services Parkway, Marietta, GA 30008. The services to be performed include but are not limited to: Active participation in the design process including cost estimating with cost projections due at each milestone, value engineering, bid procurement package preparation and distribution to subcontractors, plus, negotiations with subcontractors. Evaluation, suggestions, and recommendations for cost-effective construction methods and techniques. Award for procurement of materials and subcontractor services in cooperation with the Owner. Construction including furnishing all labor, materials, supervision, tools, equipment, etc. associated with the construction. The Project is required to comply with State and Federal statutes, rules, and regulations, as well as those of Cobb County, including local permitting of the project. Additionally, the Project must comply with all grant rules, regulations, specifications, and requirements.
